On one hand, yes, it would be harder to take care of her had she become fully grown. On the other, this makes me sick to my stomach. I'm on the side of the people saying the parents should have just sucked it up and handled the changes, instead of making their already genetically screwed up daughter even more so just to make her care more convenient for them.
