Gah, I hate it when the U.S. does it and I hate it when anyone else does it to the U.S. You don't know the background of a country even if you live in said country that leads to the way a country operates most of the time. Just because a way of doing things works in one country doesn't mean it will transfer to another country- American democracy in Iraq anyone?

	I'll towel off with you. After growing up in an area where if someone was breaking into your house, the state police might show up within the hour, I get a little testy when people who live in places where they are elbow to elbow with each other say, "Just call the police!" I've noticed that happens almost any time a local wank (i.e., Seattle) moves into international waters (i.e. stupid_free). You also start to see sweeping generalizations about countries based on the nationalities of one or two wanky lj commenters.
