Caoilte ([info]caoilte) wrote in [info]otf_wank,
I used to work at the Calgary Saddledome and get free 'seats' (albeit in between working) to the games and concerts. When I wasn't working, I would hang out at the back doors, getting autographs (I had an in with one of the truck drivers for one of the networks (who shall remain nameless) who would get me in when others were kept out). When I mentioned this to my hockey-fan friends (male) they called me a puck bunny. I didn't get it at first until they explained what it was...*chuckles* Innocent little me...

Little did I know that years later, going again with my son, hoardes of screaming fangirls now do the same as I used to do (tho without the 'in' that I had) and it was sooooooooo annoying having to go thru them to get to the guys. Hockey is big (fandom) business now. *sighs*

*was pleased to be recognised by the few older players left* :)
