Whenever I see telemarketer wank on c_s it's surprisingly similar to waitress wank. A job that's not very appealing to take in the first place, constant abuse from both employers and customers, being told that it's part of the job and being asked 'well, if it's so damn tough why'd you take it/why don't you quit?'
The only real difference is the side most of c_s is on.
