I admit that while telemarketers piss me the hell off I'm always polite to them. I'm nicer to the kids that come to my door and try to sell me a vacuum cleaner though because a) if they're out when the weather is shit-tastic they deserve at least a smile and b) I'm in sales, I'd MUCH rather have a polite turn-down than an asshole one.

Of course, I also totally admit to allowing my four-year-old to answer my phone, which is hilarious when it's a telemarketer. She has this habit of putting the phone down and walking away...and not telling mommy anyone was there until an hour later.
