Does wank + telemarketing = phone sex?
Oh, customers_suck, you bastion of wank.

[info]shadowsync posts a potentially wanky list of things to do when a telemarketer calls (how to get them to stop calling you the polite way, but phrased badly).

Of course, it's customers_suck. Are they going to let them live it down?

Not if they can help it!

Be sure to look out for [info]tigerwolf's comment about his newly-purchased airhorn (second page), and [info]susano_otter's comment about how telemarketing is equivalent to selling yourself (second linked thread, last comment).

And, of course, there's a condensed version of the stupid on stupid_free.

Telemarketing: only the strong survive.

ETA: Fixed to include link to original post.

The OP's post that really annoyed people.

Secondly, I don't have the opportunity to spend all my time reading every post in this community, and I have been mostly just read the groups on my friend's list, since I tend to spend more time on LJ.

Okay, but the place to be really annoyed is in your own journal or in the comm. Not here.

And fair enough, but now that you've seen it, do you think you'll be able to stop?

Also, here's something you've missed: you haven't hurt anyone here's feelings. You were being offered a box of tissues because you're splooging all over the place and you might want to clean up after yourself. Another reason I asked if you were new, since that's a long-standing joke here.

Now, you can stop being so defensive and realize you're being wanktastic, just like we all have been from time to time, and join in the laughing over people getting so worked up over, what is, when you take a step back, a fairly minor issue; or you can continue to be outraged and shrieky over telemarketers, and we'll keep laughing at you. Your choice.

Some of you are really good as misreading things, aren't you?

Which is understandable, considering that this is the internet, and we're only using text to convey meaning.

Now, you can stop being so defensive and realize you're being wanktastic

I'm not the one who is being the defensive one, and I consider moderators who call members things such as "whores" a sign that they might be losing control, but if you guys want to keep adding to the wank, go on right ahead.

Since you seem to not be understanding anything I'm trying to explain, and are determined to believe you're in the right, and we're all attacking and misreading you, I'm done here. Carry on with your wanky rage over the evil of telemarketers, and we'll all carry on being amused.

Welcome to JF, where "whore" is less a sign of loss of control over emotion and more a term of endearment.

Thank you for playing. There always has to be a loser.

Since she's so ragey otherwise and the sentence fragments give this whole wank a touch of spammy performance art. It's almost as tasty as copypasta.
