In Soviet New York, iPod bans you!
So a state senator in New York wants to ban using iPods while crossing city streets.

USA Today blogs about it. The comments section is a cesspool of wank, mostly of the righteous indignation kind. Watch how liberals are blamed for all society's ills! Marvel at how Darwin is misused over and over again! Gasp as accusations of communism are thrown around carelessly!

The stupid, it had to be shared.

Say what you like about this issue, but the only time I got hit by a car was when I was walking across the street listening to music on my Walkman. The cops saw that, and figured I was at least 50% at fault for not keeping a proper lookout.

Boy, I'm sorry you got hit by a car (that really sucks), but that's exactly the point I was trying to make above.

No, I was just got some road rash on my butt which I didn't even go to the hospital for.
