So a state senator in New York wants to ban using iPods while crossing city streets.

USA Today blogs about it. The comments section is a cesspool of wank, mostly of the righteous indignation kind. Watch how liberals are blamed for all society's ills! Marvel at how Darwin is misused over and over again! Gasp as accusations of communism are thrown around carelessly!

	I dunno, I saw a woman the other day who was smoking a cigarette, drinking out of a Starbucks cup, talking on her cellphone, and putting on mascara while driving (<lj user=tez: in the left turn lane at Carpenter and Pacific, no less).
