In Soviet New York, iPod bans you!
So a state senator in New York wants to ban using iPods while crossing city streets.

USA Today blogs about it. The comments section is a cesspool of wank, mostly of the righteous indignation kind. Watch how liberals are blamed for all society's ills! Marvel at how Darwin is misused over and over again! Gasp as accusations of communism are thrown around carelessly!

The stupid, it had to be shared.

Only 10 points for the bikes? Wow, it's 50 around her! :)

We used to "play" our own live version of Frogger trying to walk off campus for lunch: we had to cross six lanes of traffic, on a road where the posted speed limit was 40, but the actual speed limit was in the vicinity of 60. Ah, good times....
