Opalcat: OMGheeheeeheee...so stupid -approves post-

Community members: Ummm... you know that isn't really wrong, right?

Ankhsenet: Well I didn't know what it meant, so it's still stupid!

Community: Don't you, oh, I don't know, read?

Community wise-ass: Apparently Opalcat doesn't either.

Ankhsenet and Opalcat: OMG! U GUYZ ARE MEEEEN! SHUT UP! IT'S STILL STUPID!

Community ass-kissers: YEAH!

Community non-ass-kissers: ... the hell are you guys on?

Anytime I see Opalcat's name mentioned (especially in relationship to mts and her cuntiness therein), I do a little Clue re-enactment:

I hated her... so... much, It--it..the f--, it--flame...flames...flames on the side of my face.

What is that woman talking about?

(It's funny, regardless. But... what?)

She's giving her motives for murder.

(Also, allow me to pimp that movie so very hard. It's my one tried-and-true, no matter how bad the day it'll make me laugh movie. :) )

The dead woman on the table had been having an affair with her husband, which just drove the speaker crazy.

The movie as a whole though, is pretty hilarious. For a movie based off a board game, it's gold.

Much like communism, this post is a red herring.

"I hardly think it will enhance your reputation at the UN if it comes out that you were implicated not only in adultery with one of your patients, but in her death, and the deaths of five other people."

"You don't know what kind of people they have at the UN. I might go up in their estimation."

Why yes, I have watched it too much. Why do you ask?

"Everything OK in there?"
"Yup, two corpses, everything's fine."

"Don't you know this is a free country?"
"I didn't know it was that free."

The DVD is what I use to help distract myself when I'm too worried... I'm a gigantic Tim Curry and Madeline Kahn fan, and I love how they do Miss Scarlet

"He had threatened to kill me in public!"
"Why would he wanna kill you in public?"
"I think she meant that he had threatened, in public, to kill her."

Oh, yeah, Miss Scarlet is great. But did you ever notice that Mr Green is kind of... just... there, for some unknown reason?

"But he was your second husband. Your first husband also disappeared."
"But that was his job. He was an illusionist."
"But he never reappeared."
"He wasn't a very good illusionist."

I just tell myself it's so no one notices him until the end

"Is there going to be a cover up?"
"Isn't that in the public interest? What could be gained by exposure?"
"But is the FBI in the habit of cleaning up after multiple murders?"
"Yes. Why do you think it's run by a man called Hoover?"

Oh, yeah, good point. Truly the mark of a great fruit plant.

"Why is J. Edgar Hoover on your phone?"
"He's on everyone else's, why shouldn't he be on mine?"

Besides, there is just sooo much shiny to look at, with the Tim Curry and the Madeline Kahn and the Christopher Lloyd and Miss Scarlet...-goes to watch DVD again, offers popcorn-

"Open the door!"
"It's locked! Quick, get the key."
"The key is gone!"
"Gone? Oh, just forget the key and open the door!"
"I can't open the door without the key!"

Out of curiosity, are there any interesting bonus features on the DVD? I mean, I'll probably buy it anyway just because the movie is so great, but extras are nice.

"Why would anyone want to kill him twice?"
"It seems so unnecessary."
"It's what we call overkill."
"It's what we call a psychotic."

On the version of the DVD I have (which I'm not sure how many versions were made), there aren't a lot of extras. The theatre trailer is on there, and you can choose if you want to watch the movie with a randomly selected ending or if you want to watch it with all the possible endings. It was fairly inexpensive, so I wasn't really surprised there wasn't too much else on there.
