Community wise-ass: Apparently Opalcat doesn't either.

I don’t mind MTS, as I frequently comment there. (It’s where I found you guys after all, so it can’t be all bad.) I couldn’t comment this time; I was almost biting my knuckles at the ignorance shown.

ignorance? ha. Just because someone doesn't know a word(that they looked up btw) doesn't mean they're ignorant. Especially when they knew the word, just not the secondary definition.

The OP gave a number of definitions by which the meaning could be inferred:

4. filled with or containing compressed air, as a tire.
7. Zoology. containing air or air cavities.–noun

When most people come across a word they don’t know and don’t have a dictionary around, they look at the context. By using said context, the meaning can usually be inferred. If they have a dictionary and the word has a number of definitions, each one can be tried in context. The use of the word ‘blonde’ should have been a major clue. Also, knowing about the person beforehand, they would have a mental picture in their head to aid them. This is how children learn new words. Just because they looked it up and couldn’t work it out, does not mean that they aren’t ignorant.

Aw, 'ignorance' must be another word you don't know, mousie.

Someone not knowing something is precisely what makes them ignorant. By not knowing, they are by definition ignorant of that fact. Doesn't mean they're ignorant of everything else in the universe, but yes, they *are* ignorant in this case.

-Mousie who doesn't need a dictionary, for she reads books and porn!
