Amazon Wank
So it seems that before Christmas Amazon had a DVD offer on boxsets - buy one get one free. Except they made a bit of a mistake and the lowest item was actually taken off twice. This resulted in, if you had two items of the same price, free DVDs.

As will happen people took advantage of this and people discussed whether that was ethical.

Skip forward to December 28th, and Amazon finally realises their error. All customers affected are asked to either return the boxsets unopened, or their credit cards will be charged the total price.

Aaaaand wank results People ask whether it's legal. Some people ring Amazon to complain. And some people sit proclaiming that it's all perfectly fine and serves folk right for taking advantage of it.

OT...but do you know what happens if I don't pay Ebay fees? Does that get stuck in my credit report, too? I signed up for an account using ID verification (which means you automatically get charged $5.00), didn't use it for a loooong time, got my ass suspended for not paying the fine. Except now, long story later, I can't pay it through paypal and there's this whole mix-up involving user names and...blargh.

I am not at all familiar with EBay, but that sounds like a good reason for you to spend the afternoon reading their TOS and FAQ and finding out.
