... when a post about an 18 year old trying to get pregnant with her 28 year old fiance hits the comm. Cue lots and lots and LOTS of offensive and defensive wank about teenage pregnancy and/or marriage and/or age differences in relationships, with some squicky/hilarious/startlingly-thoughtful results.

This thread, featuring a man who met and was attracted to his girlfriend when she was 13 is especially creepy. We get aaaaaaaaall the interesting ones of LJ, donchaknow!

Really? She looks my age or possibly even a little older, I'd say. He's said she's 21 now, which is only slightly older than I, so it seems to me that she looks her age. (And I'll grant him that she may very well have looked older than she was at 13, given my own experience with going from flat to C-cup between 11 and 13. Still a little squicky, though I'd say that it reflects more on his immaturity than his creepiness, *if* he can be believed when he says they didn't have sex until she was (around) legal.)

	I envy those with your gift. As soon as I know how old someone is, I cannot tell you how old they "look." It's not possible. I know she's twenty-one, so she looks twenty-one. I also regularly card people born in the seventies when they're buying alcohol. I'm just not a very good judge of age. (Reply to this)(Parent)
