Bad service in the ER?
[info]traumawolfe posts a list of Rules of the ER in [info]customers_suck. Complaints start at the first comment, where it is pointed out that s/he ripped off the list from another site. People also point out, at various points and in various ways, that some of the demands/complaints are irrational. Many personal anecdotes are invoked on both sides and I learn more about hemorrhoids than I wanted to.

Others defend the OP and there is discussion of exactly how bitchy a patient is allowed to be.

Eventually, the OP deletes her journal, but the post remains.

[info]stella4809 makes an off-topic post over here and people complain there as well.

Ick, nurses who can't hit a vein. >< My friend had a nurse a couple of months ago who was trying to get blood to be tested. Friend was looking the other way, felt "the pinch" and then heard "oh god. So much blood" and looked at his arm to see the needle sticking out at a 45 degree angle, with blood spurting everywhere.

Not fun at all. My sympathies for your probably-terrified three-year-old self.

That was probably the most traumatizing time, and the one where if I ever see the bint again, it's gonna be hard not to kill her, but the one where I was ready to start throwing things was after I was in a car accident. After being brought in in a neck brace and a back board, they left me lying in a room for three and a half hours while I was sobbing and angry and pleading for pain pills. It wasn't until the entire half of my face started turning colors that they sent someone to do x-rays and discovered I had a cracked cheek and a broken nose from being smashed in the face by the airbag.
