The back story is there was a traditional art piece that was featured for a daily deviation, and then immediately deleted for lewdness, and a lot of the community built around the DDs are still sensitive over it. The piece was a ceramic apple glazed black, and the inside cross section was a woman's pink bits. I think the artist was ooty. It was well done and extremely popular. There was talk of it breaking pageviews per hour records. Suddenly it was deleted from the gallery without explanation to the artist or the staffer who featured it, and when the dust settled, it was claimed the black apple was too pornographic and against standards. Since then, which was about two weeks ago, any time something looks risque, people run in and make a stink about it and ask why this isn't deleted etc, etc, lamecakes. The whole thing over the Black Apple is a neat read. Lemme scare up links. Post a comment in response: |
