Possible. Also if he's not a serial wanker, it's possible that this is just his hot-button issue. Lots of people have at least one thing they can get quite wanktastic over- I myself started a 46-comment bitchfight with one guy over a half-sarcastic one-liner that for whatever reason (stressful day?) made me completely lose my shit.
