Found on the Something*Positive feed, but as it quickly boiled down to the evils of adoption, posting it here instead of in [info]fandom_wank.

Adoption only counts if you're adopting a black child with developmental problems!

Wahwahwah, adoption, whatever, WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE DISADVANTAGED STRAIGHT WHITE MALES? Seriously, guys! There's no scholarships for US! D:

Yeah, well, I don't care, I'm throwing shit just to throw shit. THE INTERNET DOESN'T MATTER TO ME!

Stats are cited, people shake their heads at the batshit, but alas—[info]tomecatti and [info]henwy insist on making asses of themselves. Kids these days.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go adopt a cute Asian baby disadvantaged black teenager so I can make myself look really good on my applications for financial aid the world a happier place.

I'm just boggling at this bit, where he whines about being so poor that he and the rest of his four-person family had to live in a two-bedroom house with one bathroom. O WOE IS HIM. I grew up in an apartment in New York City that was exactly the same size as his house, and I always felt that our situation was quite luxurious compared to the way most people lived. I mean, really. Four people having to share one bathroom? Oh the humanity!

One of my cousins was married with four sons, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. Perspective is good.

I'm thinking my aunt and uncle with ten kids in a mobile home and one bath.

Granted, it's a heavily modified mobile home now, and perhaps the boys did their business out in the apple orchard.

two bedrooms and one bathroom. total of seven rooms.

That actually sounds like a pretty decent sized house.

But we don't understand his white male pain, apparently.
