[info]customers_suck wank. Yeah, what else is new?

Short story: Customer comes in, demands full refund because the game he bought was mislabeled, the orignal poster refuses because it has been opened.

Long story here.

We have legal-wank, we have politeness-wank and fat-wank. OP has since deleted his/her journal.

...wait, what's the big deal about an adult shopping with his mom? I like my mom! I like shopping with her! And sometimes she buys me things!

It never occured to me that going shopping with my mum might not be a socially acceptable activity.

I also go drinking and on holiday with my mum (not as a family holiday - just me and her). I wonder how lame that makes me. Probably very - she can drink me under the table without even trying.

My mom and I go shopping all the time too. And we go to festivals, and bars, and look at wanks together... I wasn't aware that having a friendly relationship with one's mother is something you're supposed to outgrow.

Anyway, my mom thinks I'm cool. So nyah.

And here I thought it was something you had to grow into. It seemed the logical thing to do when you're both adults. I have actually said this to my mum too.

Oh, I know. My Mum and me get along like a house on fire and my older sister finds us endlessly amusing, cause we tend to give each other shit and we both have the same smart mouth on us. I tape Medium for her when she's out on her St John's First Aid Course, and we like animals and crime shows.

Having a Mum to share things with is awesome.

Bars? Heh, that reminds me, a friend of our family took his 70 year old mother to a strip club. They had a ball and apparently she barely stopped laughing the whole time.

Dude, didn't you know? Once you turn 13, your mum is lame and nerdy and will only embarrass you in front of the cool kids!

Coming from a family who is used to having younger members take care of older ones, and dating in a family that does similarly, I think people just need to grow up a bit.

Besides, I like going shopping with my grandmother.

Yeah, it's not like he's having her pick our his clothes, or asking her permission to buy a game rated T.

Because it totally means he's living her basement and is a 40 year old virgin.

40 year old virgins should just take their own lives. If you're not getting laid, you're lowering the average sex per person unacceptably.

I always shop with my mom! Although, I'm not so much an adult as a college student and share a car with my brother, who *always* has the car, so going with my mom is the only way I can get to stores.

I like shopping with my mom! Especially now that I'm having a baby in a couple weeks and she's buying us tons of baby stuff! :D

A letter of wanque came from the king,
to the scummiest vag I'd ever seen.

Goddamn them all!
I was told we'd cruise the net for wankiest gold, we'd speak no snark, shed no tears.
Now I'm a broken sock on the livejournal comm, the last of fandom's privateers.

... I got nothin'.

Hey, my icon is deliciously appropriate.

Okay, I read that as someone going shopping for adult toys with his mom, and I was going to say that my mother went with me and we discussed condoms a few months back when I bought them for the first time. She has offered to drive me to the local sex shop, but I think I can go on my own. Nice of her to offer, though!

I *try* to go shopping with my Mum but I can never get her to go into Fremantle with me. Neither of us drive and we're both sufferers of chronic pain. We do like our internets, though.

Remember, if you do anything with your mom when you're an adult, it means you're practically still attached by the umbilical cord. You're supposed to shun your parents after you move out.

I don't quite get that either; just because you shop with your mom doesn't mean she drove you there to pick out your fat Trekkie clothes. And it's not like his mom got involved in this little argument.

And sometimes she buys me things!

Exactly!

Besides, my mom is generally a pretty cool person.

The people on thequestionclub have the same attitude, though. There was a post a while back about living at home and there was a lot of "If you live with your parents after age 20, you're a freak and should just grow up already."

Those people are welcome to sign the lease on a nice new apartment for me. If they get a look at the soaring local housing rates that drove me back to Mom's house, however, they *might* want to reconsider.
