As if it wasn't enough that I remember seeing the original Star Wars on the big screen first time it was out.

As if it wasn't enough I have glorified tri-focals (computer glasses).

As if it wasn't enough that my grey's coming in like a classic Rogue stripe down the middle.

As if it wasn't enough that I remember reading Kirk/Spock back when it was a quicky printed mailed with a postage stamp fanzine...

The comment of an older generation being 25+ has me feeling like I'm Methuzelah's mum.

That's just awesome. That's one of the cooler ways for someone's hair to turn grey.

I would bleach it even whiter, I think, and go around wearing gloves.

Yeah and I'd always wear my vinyl pants and jacket!

My dad's side of the family goes grey in a 'skunk stripe' along their hair first, then it starts to sprinkle in everywhere else.

This is the main reason (other than lack of money) I have for not coloring my hair anymore. The stripe looks great and I don't want to hide it. :)

Granted it is a pretty nice stripe, and if one had to end up with a particular pattern, it's a decent one to have. But after all the Rogue jokes and requests to throw on a southern accent, I reached for the Ms. Clairol.

My hair is too dark and not red naturally (dammit!) to get the Rogue comments. Thankfully my geeky friends are geek enough to compare it to Polgara rather than a skunk.

I remember that. I tell people I was a mere toddler at the time though.

I got my first white hairs when I was still a teenager. It's almost completely white now. I don't want to bother to color it even though I've been offered senior citizen discounts. ;)

Me to. I started going grey at nineteen, and my mom, (whose genetics are to blame) gave me no sympathy because she started going grey at sixteen.

I still vividly remember when I got my first grey. Woke up on my 13th birthday, shuffled down to the kitchen where my Mom was making my favourite breakfast. She turned to me and said, "Happy Birthday, you have a grey hair in your bangs."

By now I pretty much figured that it was the Universe giving me a taste of the bizzare to come.

Star Wars on the big screen first time it was out.

I was eleven. I still remember it well. (My little brother was six, and he ran out of the movie theatre when Darth Vader first came on the screen.)

Grey hairs: I'm 40, and I'm still not grey. Very lucky genes, I guess.

My redheaded aunt is 40, and she still has no grey hairs. I think we might be like our Aunt Hilda and just go from red to white. Which would be kind of cool.
