Wank over hickeys, not surprised about it, just surprised it's not made an appearance until now.

Back when I was in high school, hickeys were like a badge announcing that yes you had a someone attending to 'things'. Most memorable one I had was the one my then boyfriend plastered the length of my neck that almost had my Mom take me to the ER for fear of possible arterial damage because it was so dark and huge.

As time's gone on, at this point I'm past the age where there's any coolness with hickeys. I consider them tacky, but won't begrudge anyone showing them off. As long as one's happy, that's all that matters.

Hee! I have fond memories of showing up at a school dance and having the campus dean peer at my neck, then ask if anyone had "tried to hurt me." I was very, very confused...until I got to the girls' room.

Apparently my boyfriend-at-the-time had hickified me on both sides of the neck, in places that *could* be mistaken for finger marks.
