Help, help, I'm being oppressed!
CuteOverload is known for being one of the wankiest places on the internet. Something about adorable animals just drags out the wankers in full force.

A picture is posted of a cat and baby together. Someone apparently childfree feels the need to comment, Ugh! Cute ruined by a sproglet! Ahhhhh!

Naturally, all Hell breaks loose. Forward fly accusations that the baby is ugly, CFers are heartless, and that everyone, on both sides, is being oppressed.

Of course, it's possible to argue that the comments wouldn't have escalated if if it hadn't also been posted to cf_hardcore.

Where's the "IT IS A DAILY STRUGGLE BEING CHILDFREE" icon when you need it?

It's somewhat ironic that people who consistantly fail to spell "baby", "kitten", "feet", "love" and other simple words insist on calling people who don't want to see human kids in their cute immature. For most, I would wager, it is the inability to STFU about not wanting to see human babies in your cute that people find immature. If you don't think it's cute, there is this amazing little button that you can press, it's called The Back Button. I realise that you can't un-see it (Seeing that baby must have scarred you for life, you poor dear!!!) but other people find babies cute, possibly even the person who, you know, runs the blog. 	Sometimes I wonder if this is all part of cf_hardcore's master plan to replace furries as "The Most Hated Group Online." While the really hardcore CF community gets on my nerves to no end, I have to say that every time I visit Cute Overload, I want to strangle people who use the word 'kitteh' more than three times in a single comment. 	Sometimes I can get kinda annoyed at the attitude of some CF_hardcore folks. But then I imagine how their every day starts with reading a "I cannot understand how one can like baby animals but not human babies!" comment and ends with listening to a sagacious "You know you once were a baby too, right?" remark, and then I smile again. That poor cat! Baby is about to twist kitty's ear. When Baby ignores the yowls and growls, kitty will make his displeasure known in a way that Baby can't ignore. Moomie, hearing the screams, will see the blood and demand that the cat be killed, when a few more superficial scratches would teach Baby (See Pavlov, et. al.) that abusing the cat is foolish. 	This is one reason I detached myself from the online childfree groups. There are a few real issues for childfree/childless adults to deal with, like the fact that it's very difficult for low-income childless adults to get affordable medical care (in the USA, anyway.)
