	Even if you could remove names from your user info page, any paid user could still find out who friends you by using the Directory. I'm firmly on the "stop whining, it's THEIR friends list" side of the list, though -- it's like a bookmark, for chrissakes. (Reply to this)(Parent)

Funny you should post this - today I noticed my LJ account got friended by one of those fake journals that randomly add folks in hopes to annoy. And of course, people have already come in screaming at "her" to take them off. Seriously, what's the point? it's not like they can see your private posts, and you can't read them on your own friends list unless you actually friend them back. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	I'm always amused to. I get random people commenting in my journal sometimes, and it doesn't bother me at all. Sometimes I wonder how they found me, but it's no big deal. What makes this priceless is how she claims to have connections at LJ and will call the cops. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	When i first started noticing strangers friending me, I did ask them how'd they find me, out of pure curiosity. It turned out as I suspected - most of them had just "followed me home" from either here or some of the places on LJ I sometimes post in. Though mostly F_W. ^_^ (Reply to this)(Parent)
