I'm somewhat amused by all the "what happened to the poor kitties!" comments, because honestly? The odds are no higher that anything bad happened to these kitties, than in pictures where the kittens are happy and adorable. Happy!picture kitties may have gone on to meet tragic ends, and sad!picture kitties might have had perfectly happy lives. How can you know whether the kitties were ultimately happy or sad just from one picture?

I say this because one of the kitties in the picture reminds me of the kitten that I picked for my older sister, who complained and cried and climbed the bars of her cage plenty enough, and now lives a happy life attempting to commit suicide by chewing phone cords.
