Cat Macros GONE EBIL.
Macros are great! Everyone loves 'em! But sometimes...People hate it when people don't make funny ones. Or stupid ones. Or offensive ones. Or ones with kitties in cages. IT BROUGHT UP GODWIN'S LAW PEOPLE! But I'm not surprised...

The picture bummed me out a little because the kittens look all bedraggled like a runt kitten of ours did when his mother rejected him and we had to take care of him. We kept him fed and petted (and then we kept him, period, because you cannot raise a little pathetic thing to happy kittenhood by hand and then give it away) and cleaned him up as best we could, but he always looked a little greasy until he was able to bathe himself.

So I guess what I'm saying is that the kitties make me sad because they have no mommy. :(

You make an excellent point, though. For all we know, those kittens got adopted five minutes later. And then run over a month after that. Who knows?

Well, there was no momma cat in the picture, but that doesn't necessarily mean there is no momma cat.

Also, from what I recall of kittens, they tend to be greasy and dirty if they're all sharing a cage with each other and stepping in the food and playing in the litterbox. Once we adopted the little kitten and took her home, she magically became cleaner within days.

That makes sense. I feel much better now. *g* I really don't know anything about shelters - the cats my family has had have been either from ads in the paper or born at home.
