Type O Prejudice
[info]bad_rpers_suck wank like you've never seen it before: someone posts a really bad Star Wars RPG application--par for the course on BRPS. Two comments in, someone makes a remark about why all wanky characters insist on having Type O- blood. (Has finding a donor match ever been a plot point in the Star Wars universe?)


[info]kwanboa appears with wikipedia street-cred, extolling the virtues of his/her alleged blood type and wanting to know 'why y'all be hatin' on Type O-?' Patriotism is lightly involved.


This has gotta be one of the most specific, nitpicky li'l wanks I have ever encountered.

We did have a frothing, virulent, massive dogpile of a wank on if you can put cheese on bruschetta or not.

More importantly, can I start using this as an excuse for batshittery on the internet? "According to the Japanese blood typing system, I'm an asshole! I can't help it, it's in my blood."

People are O- for the same reason so much rape exists in storylines.

Of all the silly things to base "personality types" on ... the only thing having A- blood says about me is that I got a shot of Rhogam when I got pregnant.

Penis Size would be a much better indication of whether the character was a dick or not. (And more relevant to the Role Playing experience to boot).

The one and only time I have seen blood-type be relevant in the SW fandom is when the Luke/Vader fanfic group was having a "Luke's dying and the only compatible donor who can save him is Vader" challenge.

...and no, the L/V group isn't totally about slash. Though L/V slash does exist. >.>
