Speaking of CC, did anyone else notice her name on the acknowledgement page for Ellen Kushner's Privilege of the Sword? I just finished that book last night, and seeing her name associated with one of my favorite authors was something I could have done without.

It's on the acknowledgments page of A Great and Terrible Beauty (though I may have the title wrong), by Libba Bray. I blame her for my inability to finish the book (though I probably just got distracted by a different book).

Yeah, they're friends and it creeps me out, because while that series isn't exactly the most serious or wonderful literature, it's pretty good brain candy. But I am a sucker for that sort of catty Victorian schoolgirl + magic thing.
