God, that whole thread about how disgusting it is to eat bone marrow, and like, people totally only did that in the way long ago past like the hunter-gatherers in Grapes of Wrath who had to use every part of the animal, made me wish intently that I could grab them through my lappy screen and smack their empty heads together.

I used to eat it when I was a kid with vigour. Looooved the stuff. Not so much these days but back then if it was animal product, I'd consume till there was only the bone left. But I was a growing little girl so there you go. :)

First time I heard of marrow sandwiches, I skieved. But then when over at a friend's country relative's house, she served them and I didn't want to be rude and refuse so I figured choke one down and just be ready for the bathroom if it didn't agree with me. Ended up eating 2 because they were just that damn good.
