Female law student, "Dizzy", writes sad sad letter to Cary Tennis on Salon.com. Her "frenemy" broke her nose when she was out drinking with him. Let's call him "Steve", since well, Steve is actually his name. Then Steve made fun of her on facebook. (facebook profile is friend only now, no screencap) She wants to poison his coffee! She has no friends. The Dean won't help her. Cary responds in his usual circuitous way. Salon's readers (or Tennis's readers) go nuts. Many people chime into say,"Law school is just like Jr. high."

Most of them think "Dizzy" is a guy (it is hard to tell from the letter) and tell her she should have beat the tar out of Steve and blah blah blah. The response letters at Salon are full of pure comedy and people who ARE OMG SEERIOS! And when trolls pop up the people froth and foam. Anons start posting the Steve's full name, the dean of the school's email, etc. There are infractions against both Snacky's and Godwin's laws. I've put in some links but there are 145+ responses.

It turns out that Steve is black and the Dizzy is white. Because it is Salon no one really gets their panties in a bind they way they do at a the law board linked below. People are more upset about a man hitting a woman. Me? I just think punching is bad, and it doesn't matter who is punching whom. (Note: Steve said he beat Dizzy like her step-daddy, who she claims routinely beat her as child! Steve is so classy!)

Then several Salon posters realize Dizzy is easy to find via a google search for her blog. On which the idiot who broke her nose leaves his home address (or someone's home address.) People rush to her support, and a few people come by to say they dont like Dizzy. Frankly the best thing are the posts like this one in which she tells us she let her dolls sleep in her bed when she was a child and she slept on the floor. I cried. Also it turns out the Dean is helping her, and everyone really is on her side, and everyone thinks Steve is a big jerk... OK! and maybe he didn't actually hit her, because her face bones "are fragile"?!

Then the shit hits law message board which appears to be one giant pit of wank. (I got totally sidetracked by this I got kicked out of a Barnes and Noble for making a Jay-Z collage... WTF?) One of the reaction threads is here and there are more but that site is hard to read. What a wankfest, with actual wanking all over it and anal sex. You couldn't swing a dead cat there without getting spooge on it. And we all know how hard it is to get spooge of a dead cat...
