More Cuteoverload wank
I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet.

Yesterday on Cute Overload a series of pictures featuring a fat tuxedo cat draped over a couch.

On the second comment involves how unhealthy it is for a cat to be so fat.

Over 400 comments later ranging from it's still a healthy weight for a cat, personal anecdotes, feline and human obesity and vegetarianism.

I think my personal favorite is

2. I don't want to get into the whole Darwin thing, but there is only about a 2% difference in our DNA and the DNA of monkeys. Monkeys are vegans.

I believe veganism is the natural way humans are supposed to eat because:

1. Humans do not have carnivorous teeth - not like other carnivorous animals such as cats and dogs. Our couple of teeth that are slightly pointy were, in my opinion, designed to crack nuts and things like that, primordially.

2. I don't want to get into the whole Darwin thing, but there is only about a 2% difference in our DNA and the DNA of monkeys. Monkeys are vegans.

3. I believe that anything that appears to be unhealthy to the human body is not naturally designed for the human body, i.e. meat - frequent and excessive consumption of meat can cause constipation, cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure, body odor, etc.

I'm just sorry that the public education system failed him or her so badly.

It's not even a tiny bit right. She might as well have said "Human beings are designed to live in the vacuum of space and eat styrofoam."

Don't you judge my lifestyle! Now where'd my bag of packing peanuts get off to? I'm hungry.

That's just pathetic.
Combine this with how every vegan I've ever known is an ex-drug addict, a chain smoker, and covered in tattoos, I find it hilarious how they keep this high & mighty air of treating their body better than everyone else. I'm sure there are some normal ones out there somewhere, but my experience is certainly putting a cynical light on that lifestyle for me.

You know, I honestly have yet to meet a SANE vegan.

My husband was vegan when we met and he's sane. Possibly too sane to remain vegan, as I tempted him to the Dairy Side with goat cheese.

He was never into the whole 'veganXhardcoreXculture', though; I doubt I'd have been interested had he been.

Right, I'll remember that I only have SLIGHTLY pointy teeth when I accidently pierce my own tongue with my canine teeth of doom. Then I will crack some nuts.

..just..WTF. I can't say more than that.

Some of my teeth are carnivorous, some are omnivorous, but I have this really annoying molar that is vegan and keeps protesting animal rights issues while my incisors are eating steak.

Excessive consumption of anything can cause problems.

Including oxygen.

You know who shouldn't eat meat? Pigs. Because, seriously, it makes them even more aggressive than usual, as we discovered when they started murdering our chickens. /bitter.

I don't know why I feel so vindictive, but I have the urge to give her a walnut and demonstrate our nut-cracking teeth. C'mon, put your jaw into it!
