Photobucket vs. Myspace!
Apparantly, Myspace has made it impossible to hotlink Photobucket ~~images or~~ videos and use on your Myspace profile.

The Powers of Photobucket are not happy about this and post in their company blog

I am trying to get my own social network going that I hope will outperform myspace-but no members yet, and it will rely heavily on third party video/image/audio feeds.
I haven't tried embeded a photobucket video into it as I haven't seen one yet, but that would only take a few minute to fix if given the format.

Lol - I just came here to see if this has been posted. All I wanted to do was upload one tiny image to post on my LJ and an hour later I'm still reading the Photobucket comments.

Myspace means Tom's space? Is that what I'm reading? I think it's unfair to offer a "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" Forum and then snatch it back. Once Myspace starts doing that, it's down hill all the way.

It will become just as lame as some of these other pages out here. These places
are so edited and restricted that no one wants to be on them. Is that what MYSPACE
wants to do? Force the community to find another space...because I'm telling you
that's what's going to happen.

I'm really disappointed about this. Though I've never really done any editing of vids. I was looking forward to learning. I watch many of them and get a kick out of them.

It's like this...there's something here (on myspace) for everyone. Or at least
that's what we all thought. It WAS entertaining and exciting and interesting.

My voice is loud when I say...CUT THE CRAP MYSPACE...NOT THE CONTENT! Stop trying to control people and if you keep doing this, no one will want to be on myspace. And think about this...when the people leave, THE ADVERTISING $'s will leave too. Think about that TOM! THINK ABOUT THAT!!!
