I love how everyone there and here had such an extreme emotional reaction to me. They appealed to personal anecdotes and emotions, but didn't present any reasoned arguments. The extreme double standard regarding sources was also perplexing. It never ceases to amaze me how people can so persistently demand something from me that they are utterly incapable of providing themselves, even if their life depended on it.
