Let me tell you, internets, if there were any a man I'd go to for advice on what to do in a DV situation, it'd be him. Because he apparently knows all about the history of DV and I? I don't. ::snerk::

Oh, and this person isn't exactly a shining beacon of intelligence or compassion either.

	Yeah, that was possibly the weirdest conversation I've ever read on Feminist, and that's saying a lot. (Although to be fair, the OP originaly made it seem like she heard noises that could be someone stubbing their toe, and then really ramped up the severity level of what happened in the edit. Yeah, I kind of understand the attitude of "since you really don't know what's happening at all or who in a large apartment building is doing this, maybe getting the police involved is premature" but it was very weird for Feminist.

I wanted to comment that possibly the apartment manager would have a map of the ventilation system and that might help but I wasn't sure that was a brilliant remark either and by then it was going downhill anyway.
