Yup! Because saying you're a stupid wrong jerkwad is an opinion*, while stating that statistics support you ~~in email~~ implies that there is factual basis for your claims. Since you assert you have ~~facts~~ (different from opinions, those) on your side, we want to seem them. Preferably in the form of a peer-review scientific study. In lieu of that, statistics from a nationally respected or government agency on domestic violence will be accepted.

Until you produce such proof, instead of pulling crap out of your ass and flinging it at us, we're going to keep pointing and laughing at sorry trolling ass.

Oh, I get it, you when you fervently insist that you're absolutely right and that it's totally obvious, you're not relying on what you consider to be fact(s), it's just an opinion.

Out of curiosity, why would you make a post in a "stupid mocking" community and proceed to severely mock someone as a complete ignoramus when you don't think that you have fact(s) backing you? That's just plain dimwittery.

Seriously, if you're making such harsh claims and pretending that it's so obvious without actually having fact(s) on your side, then you're just yet another zealot preaching unfounded beliefs.

By the way, I like how people often use "it's just an opinion" as a complete cop-out. Unless you just pulled your opinion out of thin air, it's going to be based on some sort of facts.

How interesting that you yourself jumped right to the conclusion that a lack of supporting evidence means you are wrong. I didn't even need to say it. Perhaps there's some unconscious knowledge in your head making itself known through your logic-jumps; or perhaps some measure of graduate-trained critical thinking is kicking in. Hold on to that thought, njyoder! It may be your only way out of this labyrinth!

I have no idea whether your position on the subject of DV has merits or not. At the moment, I don't care enough to research it on my own. But you aren't on Fandom Wank because you're wrong, nor because you're right. You're on fandom_wank because you're a wanky asshole.

Do you often wear those blinders? Did you ignore the numerous people claiming that I'm totally wrong and an idiot for thinking that my view is correct? They didn't classify it as a wank because of what I was saying at all.

If everyone had agreed with me, there would be no wank. Furthermore, there is much, much more wank on the side of people disagreeing with me, but they aren't the ones being posted about.

When I actually challenge them, they devolve into humor out of self-defense for their ego. Then they claim, like you are now, that it's just about the lols, despite the fact that so many people before tried to defend it.

	P.S. Just to further emphasize that you have blinders on, I suggest that you read the actual post. It directly references my view multiple times and mocks how stupid it is. Back in the mists of prehistory when I was young, I moved into an apartment with a college friend. The family next door to us had a lot of domestic issues, and my friend and I frequently called the cops to haul Dad away. But Dad was always back the next day, and boy was he ever pissed off then!

Dad was a resident at a local hospital - not sure if that was why (or part of why) he was always able to come back after being arrested or not. You know, that whole "doctors are God" thing. The wife always had bruises and the kid had a broken arm once. Neither spoke English very well, which may have been another reason they didn't/couldn't get help. They moved out at the end of the year, and I don't know what happened to them, but sometimes even all these years later I think about them and wonder.

In this case, calling the cops didn't do squat. And being a couple of young, dumb teenagers, my roommate and I didn't know what else to do.

Oh yes - let us not forget that anecdote =/= data.

I'll just clean up after myself now.
