It's a small, incestuous, batshit world after all.

It's quite possible she's not crazy unless she's being mocked, though, so there's that. The great part is, if she had ignored it all no one would remember it; the description itself wasn't that that, as these things go. It's the fuss she made that makes everyone remember her, not her writing.
