"All I do is point it at people."
On Scott Adams' blog, he posts a hypothetical question about theft. Naturally, the commenters flip the frak out, eliciting such gems as this tl;dr, calling everyone else hypocrites, all billionaires are thieves, some nested analogies, and stealing is always wrong.

This is the deleted post people keep commenting about.

Recheck your HTML. And I really think that Scott Adams is secretly loving all his commentators being jerkwads. He's just that sort of person.

Say, if your girlfriend decided to sleep with some dude you wouldn't want to know the name of. Do you go and hop on a few girls of your own just to get even? Do you punish him by banging on his sister and his girlfriend too? All the while she wanted to prove to you she wasn't to be ignored and she's “in demand” in the neighborhood. Women...

I'm concerned that I live on the same planet as mospeada and there is nothing I can do about it.

I imagine it is wrong of me to see the 'cabal' from Hot Fuzz sitting around the table chorusing, "The greater good!"

...but so damn funny!

I wanted to find funny, but the tl;dr, it burned!

What if you and the dead billionaire were stranded on the ocean in a lifeboat with a cat and the jewel: would you use the jewel to focus the sun's rays over the billionaire's body so that you could eat his carcass semi cooked, or would you feed yourself to the ravenous cat by cutting your wrists with the jewel and letting the cat lick your wounds, risking death yourself for the welfare of another?

And either way, do the communists win?

I think you use the jewel to send light signals to passing cormorants, which you lure in with the corpse of the cat. Then, you tie the cormorants to the boat, and fly off into the sunset.

Then, you tie the cormorants to the boat,

With the hair on your back?

I don't have hair on my back, I'd have to use my leg hair.

He does so like to wind people up. I love reading his blog to see people argue themselves into knots. I'm sorry I missed the deleted post post - damn having to sleep.

So if I used the money from the jewelry to pay for my tuition, changed my major to biology and went on to cure cancer, would that be less or more wrong, and can I have money please?

My brain stopped here:

free will is seen as something predetertimined

Ah, the intricacies of philosophy.
