So [info]theweed posts in [info]bad_service about a rude hotel clerk. In, and of itself that wouldn't be noteworthy but then [info]bkmichele decides the OP was looking for a free ride by lying about a death in the family.

I, too, want to know where [info]bkmichele works. My father frequently travels on business (he's a salesman) and stays in hotels. I wish there was some way I could tell him to never, ever stay there.

...On the other hand, when he gets angry, he looks sort of like a hitman (the job my brother's friends all thought he had in high school). So perhaps it would be worth having him get angry at being treated this rudely.

Wow. That bkmichele almost makes me wanna choke a bitch, but it's against my personal policies to hate people are stupid (as in genuinely stupid and not willfully ignorant).

I mean, only an idiot would read a post were the OP stated that the issue was bad service (in a freaking community about bad service) and NOT about money and then go, "It's about the money isn't it, you whore?!"

I think this is best summarised as:

OP: We went to a motel, were not properly explained the policies, and we were under a lot of stress.

(And, as an especially NASTY aside, if Missy Michelle's lousy attitude is perpetual, it's no wonder she's currenty having to e-panhandle money to pay off a student loan. I know of no company who'd keep a rage-wad like that on payroll!)

Wow. I read a post in which a family goes to a hotel, is told by the clerk to leave a $100 doposit and was then hunted down and accused of being thieves by the hotel manager, when, in fact, it was a mistake on the part of the clerk.

[info]bkmichele read a post about a family that tried to intimate a hotel manager into giving them 3 days at the hotel for free. I still can't find the post [info]bkmichele read.

(Actually, I paid in cash the last time I went to a convention and I paid it all in advance. So I understand the logic behind it but then, so does the OP in the post and just about everyone else. I've never had anyone be that rude to me in a hotel or motel.)
