I'm Irish/English on my dad's side - the English side is very proud of being descended from King Edward III, and the Irish side is very proud of being descended from horse theives.

(I'm also Austrian/Ukranian on my mom's side... the Austrians are very proud of getting out before the holocaust, while the Ukranians don't talk about being Ukranian. I can only assume they did something horrible involving perogies and painted eggs.)

	I'm descended from a bunch of rowdy Irish that stepped off a boat sometime during the nineteenth century. This means that I can wank indiscriminately about how the English are oppressing me by all that . . . stuff . . . they did to the Irish that one time. You know. Oppressive stuff. 	According to my uncle, our family is related to Tzu-Hsi through an adopted daughter, I'm just glad we're not actually related since I won't be here otherwise. I think half of China can claim to be related to somebody important or other though. (Reply to this)(Parent)
