Actually from what I remember she did move eventually, after she realised the kid wasn't going to be quiet - her mother stayed where she was though, & at the end of the display reported that the kid had kept screaming. IIRC the OP was actually bitching at the parents rather than the child - they speculated that the child might have some sort of autistic spectrum disorder, or other condition that might affect how it reacts to the world, & the rant was directed at the parents for either a) not disciplining the kid (if it was just being a little shit), or b) not removing the kid to a quieter location so it could calm down (if it did have a condition of some kind).

	Absolutely true story here - I had to do that once. I was at a Robbie Williams show last year and there was a group of females not far from me having a conversation, pitched loud enough to be heard over the music and the crowd. And THAT, my friend, took some doing. I mean, of course, why NOT pay eighty bucks to see a show and then yak all through it? (Reply to this)(Parent)
