So!
Matt Boyd of MacHall and Three Panel Soul wanted to buy a gun. He mentioned it to a co-worker, the day after the Virginia Tech shootings. Another co-worker overheard and reported him, feeling 'unsafe'. Matt was promptly fired.

So, he made a strip detailing this wacky experiance here,here and here.

And then the cops came! Apparently the girl in the second strip looked like a co-worker and the whole comic was considered "Borderline Terroristic." (I swear.)

Since then, this whole thing has made it's rounds amongst the Web Comic communities, and of course, wank will follow.

And "Terroristic" is indeed a word. See?

	Yeah, I can't imagine why someone wouldn't be freaked out by some creepy internet guy talking about how many bullets he needs/wants to kill someone. In fact, that sort of talk comforts me. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	He didn't. He was talking about how many it would take. Not actually assaulting someone, just the merits and disadvantages of a given gun. And he wasn't some 'creepy Internet guy', he's a Southern dude with a goatee in the next cubicle. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Also, he was making the point that he'd specifically decided on one that would make it difficult to kill someone *deliberately*, much less accidentally.

(I really don't like guns, but overhearing somebody saying "I really just want to do some range shooting, so I'm going with something less dangerous" would be somewhat comforting, if they had to be talking about it at all.)
