In the Words of Alice Cooper - "I love my guns, hot dog and mustard...I love America"
Yay webcomic wank!

So!
Matt Boyd of MacHall and Three Panel Soul wanted to buy a gun. He mentioned it to a co-worker, the day after the Virginia Tech shootings. Another co-worker overheard and reported him, feeling 'unsafe'. Matt was promptly fired.

So, he made a strip detailing this wacky experiance here, here and here.

And then the cops came! Apparently the girl in the second strip looked like a co-worker and the whole comic was considered "Borderline Terroristic." (I swear.)

Since then, this whole thing has made it's rounds amongst the Web Comic communities, and of course, wank will follow.

Like here</> for example.

EDIT: Here's an
interview with Matt himself.
And "Terroristic" is indeed a word. See?

Scott Adams once got flamed for doing a strip that involved nuns dying. It happened to be the same week Mother Teresa died.

Even that made more sense than this.

Also; how could Ian deliberately draw the strip to resemble a woman he's never seen before? He lives on the other side of the frakkin' country!

I remember seeing that in Seven Years of Highly Defective People. Apparently, he'd done the strips months in advance, and the timing was just really sucky. He also got flamed for one involving Jesus healing a football.

Oddly enough, Adams also had to pull a strip because of the VT shootings due to a casual serial killer reference. Apparently it didn't get pulled everywhere, so he probably got a few flames about it as well.
