ONTD gives baby-on-boob wank. Again.
Maggie Gyllenhaal publicly breastfeeds.

All was quiet for a while.... and then the age old story of mothers vs. oppressors/people-who-think-they-should-cover-up(or not do it in public) began.

I'm proud of it because it took until the third page of comments to happen!

400 500 600 800 1100 1400 comments and counting.

Edit; new wank includes: Motherhood is the most important thing in society, so you can all stfu and lick my leaking boob! Breastfeeding isn't far from molesting children! UR DUM SO U MUST NOT HAVE BEEN BREASTFED!!!

True BoobNazis and childfree people are now into it. *tear*

Edit²: Now featured onGawker!

But don't you realize that this is our big end of the egg/little end of the egg argument, just in its beginning stages? Soon there shall be two nations: one of public breastfeeders, where nary a breast does not have a babe attached to it and where it is frowned upon to feed where the sun dost not shine, and one of private breastfeeders, where the mere suggestion of even breastfeeding in front of one's lover is scandalous and results in an arrest and trial of the OJ Simpsons sort! And lo, they shall be mortal enemies, and their children shall nurse on the milk of war.

On the internet, anyway. And then one day everyone will be talking horses and stuff.

It's OK. Even if the breastfeeding argument were reconciled, we'd just end up battling giant super-intelligent otters in the distant future instead of one another.

I learn everything I need to know from television.

OKAY NO. It's not otters, it's mantis...es. Whatever the plural is. And we'll fight over a giant silver pearl that will save our planet.

My dreams are real, damn it! Also, I will break my legs falling off a horse... when I somehow survive for hundreds of years and become blond and athletic.

...You thought "Ded from cute" was just a figure of speech, DIDN'T YOU.

Now you see their dastardly plan!

I would never be able to fight super-intelligent otters. They're too cute and playful.

The otter overlords have already won.

It's funny. I ended up having to go with formula for my kid, and I was so afraid that the whole world would give me the stinkeye.

Then I discovered that the real world doesn't care - only the internets. >_>

Heh. As a baby, I absolutely refused to breastfeed (and if you knew me now, this would not be unexpected...) and I don't think my mother ever got crap for it. Oh, the peaceful world before the internets. :P
