That comment is triggering!!
I never thought I'd see the day. Over on the community [info]o_c_d, someone makes a post about a possible origin for her OCD. Poster [info]artemidite comments about how the OP could have OCPD instead. Another poster backs this theory up. Apparently though, [info]olmedina doesn't like this and asks the second commenter [info]enlisted_smile if they went to grad school. And thus wank occurs. In a separate thread, OM complains about how some of the comments could be triggers for some people.

From there OM not only trolls E_S and alluringkailyn's LJs (comments either deleted or screened now), but also makes a Goodbye cruel internets post to the comm.

So... does anyone have a "Get out of my disorder" icon?

ETA: E_S has provided a screencap of the trolling which can be found here.

One of OM's comments on another post:

A lot of my account-hopping was to escape drama in which I got enmeshed under my old accounts, though. I just had to have the perfect "clean slate" afterwards.

Gee, I wonder why.

When it came to all the rude, nasty stuff you said, I should've ignored, ignored, ignored, and just left you to your own devices.

I need to calm down? Hunnie, I'm more calm than you'll probably ever be.

Other than the part where you sound like Winnie the Pooh going off on his favorite food? Yes. Dead, ice calm.

I hate hate hate when people get all up ins about "potential triggers". I learned real early on in my journey through anxiety disorder/PTSD that it was MY responsibility to cope with triggers in my environment, and mine alone. Even in proclaimed "safe spaces", you're generally talking openly about disorders and obstacles in your life. The discussion is going to be triggering to SOMEone. You leave until you're able to deal with being triggered or you cope and talk about it rationally. The OMG U TRIGGERD ME is such bullshit.

Yeah. Going around net-shouting, "trigger, trigger!" is going to do nothing but make a suceptible person even more aware of potential areas of anxiety and stress that that hadn't even considered before.

[info]olmedina is crazy! She was bothering a RL friend of mine earlier this week. [info]olmedina claimed my friend invited her friendship on LJ, which is weird as my friend is pretty private and doesn't add random new people. Anyway when my friend didn't add [info]olmedina back, she started getting uppity at her. The post, there are multiple threads of weird name-calling. My friend still doesn't get what happened there and neither do I...

Oh, wow, Olmedina is a bitch. :P

And in response to the OP in question: I don't think religion causes OCD, it's just that it's very VERY easy for people with OCD to become very VERY obsessed with religion. My dad (and me, but I realized what it was and got out of religion) is a case in point.

Heavy drinking is actually associated with OCPD as well. :0) I recommend looking this up!

Why with the smileys? She does that with every other sentence! Is that her compulsion, to put smileys where smileys dare not go?

Too many abbreviations in this wank!

Why is 'abbreviations' such a long word?
