Fun with Apple!
In which a misinformed blog posting causes stock droppage (maybe), panic (yes), and wank (definitely).

The chain of events goes something like this:

Engadget: ZOMG! The iPhone and Leopard are going to be delayed! Internal email says so!
Apple haters: IN YOUR FACE, APPLE!
Apple fans: Bullsh!t! Show us proof!
Apple stock: *thud*
Apple: Um, just one good goddamn minute. No. Not true. Here's an official press release and everything.
Engadget: Um. Oops. Sowwy.
Engadget commenters: *lots of shouting, including taking Engadget to task for printing something unsubstantiated*

Good times.

Mostly, I'd really like to see Steve Jobs's face right now -- I'm sort of surprised I didn't hear the blast in Cupertino all the way from Texas. And I'd really hate to be the Apple employee(s) who leaked the fake email to Engadget.

	Oh goody, OS wank. Like I don't get enough of that at work. (I want to either smack the raging Apple/Microsoft/Novell/Linux fanboys together in the heads to get them all to STFU and agree on something or exact my revenge to writing urple RPS featuring them all, but that could just INJURE MY BRAIN TOO MUCH.)
