Over on [info]ohnotheydidnt, wanking is merely byproduct of existence. The art of celebrity bashing involves a careful, delicate waltz around various puddles of splooge scattered across the boards. Today is no exception.

[info]foreverxromance posts a blind item regarding the inevitable, sordid behaviors of the rich and eccentric. But this isn't what sparks the wank - it's a matter of semantics. [info]cmacarson just can't understand why people think "masseuse" and "masseur" are appropriate titles for a LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST when they are clearly terms indicative of prostitution. It's no joke, people. Vocabularly is serious business.

And don't even think about arguing with her. After all, this LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST attends a real life, professional skool, so she knows her shit. For realz.

Yikes. Okay, [info]cmcarson is undoubtedly being a moron here, BUT.

I hate
comments like these.

Because language NEVER changes, EVER. WTF?

God, I wanted to reply to that SO bad.

And like I said above, she's not wrong for what she knows. And not nearly as vehement about it as a lot of LMT I know (If you've been taught Massues=whore, you can get a tad touchy about being called a whore)

And borrowed words from other languages always mean exactly what they meant in the original language.
