HOW DARE YOU TAKE MARTIN LUTHER KING'S NAME IN VAIN?!
In the comments for a post about Jerry Falwell's death, one of the posters makes a joke about him rooming with Martin Luther King. Jesurgislac is offended by this, and takes care to educate everyone about the gravity of the situation:

It was a one-line joke that condemned Martin Luther King to an eternity of suffering.

Cue racism wank, accusations of insensitivity, and I-have-more-right-to-be-offended-than-you competitions.

I admit the case was a little unusual; a security guard unintentionally killed a thief who was trying to make off with a leather jacket--the thief was a little guy and the security guard was a big guy, and when the guard grabbed the guy and threw him down the guy died.

After the guard was convicted of manslaughter the dead guy's sister was on camera saying the guard was "evil." All I could think was "Well, if your brother hadn't been breaking the damn law he'd still be alive!" It seemed like no one was acknowledging that the crime was the thing that started it all.

Apparently thinking the guy shouldn't have been stealing in the first place was "barbaric." Still can't figure out why.

It's probably bad if I imagine that body throw and think "finish him! Fatality...", huh?
