Y'know, I really hate to say it, but if the administrators of the comm want English, they...well, they kind of have a right to ask for it. :-/ There's nothing on LJ that stops people from making their own language-specific communities. I certainly wouldn't expect to walk into a Spanish speaking comm and argue with them about lingual rights.
