I know I've mentioned this before, but the biggest wank I've ever been witness to, bigger than the Prodigy Borg Intergalactic Conspiracy vs Bashers flame war of 1991, bigger even than the AOL Medical Debate Board Anti Vaccination wars of 2003, was a blow-up on a Yahoo Group which included a whole lot of BNR (Big Name Rosarians) and involved donations to a municipal heritage rose garden and the French refusal to back the US in the War on Terror (sic). It was mostly amazing for the number of published authorities and great age among the participants.

Given that, at one point, there were six mutually lethal conflicts on the old AOL garden board, this wank is sort of sweet and nostalgic (and the people know nothing, NOTHING about roses, and I am glad for the rule about trolling the wank, or I'd be in it up to my ears).
