Well, it's kind of like if you get into discussions with college-age radical liberals who want something bad to happen to Bush so that he isn't President anymore, and how quickly they backtrack once it's pointed out to them that if Bush can't be President, then we'll have Cheney officially in charge. The one that's arrogant and kind of stupidly oblivious looks pretty good in comparison to the one that's arrogant and actively evil, you know?

(and really, darling, I was trying to keep that on the downlow. How do you think that the politicians who want to regulate the Internet are going to react when they find out that vampires can get into the Internets by turning into mist and going through the tubes?)

Ahahaha! Here, you'll find many people advocating that someone shoot the current president, who's been in charge now for 26 years. I have to point out to them that the last time an idiot thought shooting the president was a good idea was, well, 26 years ago, and that's why we've been under Martial Law ever since.
That usually shuts them up (or, you know, gets them thinking about how we could change things in an actually constructive way).
