Small, but quickly growing:

[info]drsaddam posts a link to Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth movie in [info]_scientists_. Given the community, would you expect the response to be...

a) hey, thanks for the link.

b) I don't think that's completely legal.

or

c) OMG, you evil terrorist socialists who manipulate science!!!1!!!1!

OT: I will forever associate "nebachanezar" as the name of one of the ships in The Matrix.

But it's spelled wrong. The ship in the Matrix is spelled correctly, Nebuchadnezzar. I assume the TNG reference is the reason it's misspelled?

The correct spelling/transliteration of the name is actually a pretty murky issue.

When is it not? *wry* But the King James version is traditional, which is not to say that it is necessarily accurate in a linguistic sense.

I googled it, however, and I cannot find this particular permutation of it anywhere other than in this person's profile (I assume it is the same person) in various places. Personally, I have never seen it before, though I'm aware of several other variations; I can't really see how this one would be in any way more accurate than the traditional form, given the likely original pronunciation. In fact, it's a good bit less.

....god I sound pretentious when I put my linguist hat on. Sorry.
