Quit having kids, you're wasting my money!
A post is made to [info]bad_service in which a mother with WIC vouchers and several kids was insulted to her face and behind her back by a clerk. While most people seem to agree that this is bad service, about half the commentors are also quick to tell the OP that she's brought it all on herself and to either quit whining or quit popping out babies she can't afford. 123 comments of "My thoughts on having kids" and growing.

"There are tons of jobs you can do from home."

For example, fetish porn! Put that big belly to work, let's see ya shake it like ya make it, baby. And once the kid is born, make breast milk into cheese! See? There's TONS of ways to make money at home! It's so easy, I don't know why everyone doesn't do it!

People who think "There's ways to make money at home" is some sort of catchall for SAHMs always tickle my funny bone. Especially when they think we can do stuff while we're actively momming. There's a reason your local daycare center is not an accounting firm as well.

I do know a woman who continued exotic dancing while pregnant. Without going into too much detail, she said that it's amazing what kinds of fetishes are out there.

She quit when her son was born, though.

Hey, and I've worked from home. There's plenty of distractions in that setting without kids, I can't imagine what it's like trying to work from home WITH them!

Freaking miserable; I worked as a reader (grading for the local high school) for most of the time my kids were tiny, and it always came down to not sleeping at all, because the only time I had to do my work was when they were asleep, and the younger one needed less sleep than I did.
